great central spot for exploring plainview and nearby parks

staying here allowed us to wander around the charming older part of Plainview, which is just a short walk from the movie theater and the fun vintage shops, creating a delightful experience during our weekend getaway.

I had a mixed stay at Warrick Plaza Inn. The room was clean with essentials like WiFi, shower, and flat-screen TV. I appreciated the travel kettle for my morning coffee. The location had its charm, right near the old part of Plainview and the movie theater, making it easy to stroll around. However, the check-in process was confusing. The owner wasn’t available, leaving staff unsure of how to handle my reservation. Also, I noticed the cleaning practices weren’t up to par. I saw the owner just airing out some towels instead of using cleaning supplies. Overall, while there were some positives, the lack of proper cleaning and the check-in hiccup dampened my experience.

The room was clean and service was friendly, but it’s a bit dated. Improvements are underway, which is promising! 😊
